Every element of the Marine Corps emblem means something — and this German beer stein explains it all. At the front and center of the stoneware body, the United States Marine Corps Globe and Anchor logo appears as a metal medallion. The left side describes the symbolism of the eagle, the center the symbolism of the globe, and the right side the symbolism of the anchor, while timelines on both sides trace the history of the logo from its inception to the version used today — its various iterations shown on either side of the medallion. The lid carries a three-dimensional, sculpted Globe and Anchor. For Marines, their families, and collectors of Corps history, this beer stein is Semper Fidelis in stoneware.
