High on a cliff, an eagle keeps its kingdom on this beer stein. In the foreground, the great bird is perched on the rock, clutching a trout in its talons, while a second eagle glides through the background sky. Walter Liebel's detailed and realistic artwork is high-fired for lasting permanence, and raised relief borders and a decorative handle give the stoneware its finished, sculpted feel. The embossed pewter lid features a detailed eagle, echoing the hunter below. For raptor lovers, fishermen, patriots, and wildlife collectors, this beer stein is the wild at its most majestic — caught, for once, sitting still. The body is made in China; the lid and decorations are made in Germany.
