Berlin, captured by a master's hand. This German beer stein is the third in a set of city steins by Thewalt, in which he captures the historic architecture of Germany's oldest and most famous cities. The decoration is wonderfully detailed, emphasizing the Brandenburg Gate of Berlin and the Berlin Coat of Arms opposite the handle, with other famous Berlin landmarks completing the scene, and satin gold oval borders providing beautiful accents around the main subject panels. The stoneware raised-relief work rewards a slow turn in the hand, and a conical pewter lid crowns the piece. For Berliners, history lovers, and Thewalt collectors, this beer stein is the capital in miniature.
